Watch American miler Lopez Lomong, a 3:32.20 PB over 1500m, relate his incredible, amazingly touching story of how he was taken captive as a kid in Sudan, escaped and fled into Kenya where he picked up running, got motivated and inspired watching Michael Johnson win and shed a tear on the podium in Altanta 1996 to subsequently make the big decision to seek his own fortune across the Atlantic, where he finally did not only made the Olympics but was also honoured to be the flag bearer of the US team in Beijing. Most definitely worth a look!
