I’ve just stumbled over an excellent article by Swiss-based American hammer thrower Martin Bingisser, an attorney by profession, who has collected and compiled fabulous extensive illustrated material over the famous Hungarian hammer throw school, with former European champion Tibor Gescek demonstrating either in throwing practice or relevant training drills.

Here is study and research in full as put up on the personal website of the American thrower, coached by well-known Russian Anatoli Bondarchuk:

I think this is a must-read and see for every hammer athlete or coach around so do have a good look at it.

Incidentally, I intend to launch a new page concerning training and this should make for a very good opening item.
